Bootcamp class is a 3 week course designed to refine your skills on the wheel like centering, pulling walls, and making handles. You will go through a series of exercises in each class to get better at those skills to build your confidence on the wheel.

You will make 2-4 matching mugs/pots in this class that you can glaze at an open studio. Most of the pots made in this class will be cut in half to learn from, and recycled!

If you have never taken classes with EPIC please email us before enrolling so that we can confirm this is the right class for you.

This take-home clay kit will walk you through the steps to make your own clay garden gnome! When you’re finished, simply bring it back to EPIC Clay Studio to be fired. Local pickup only — days/times listed below! Finished pieces will be ready 3-4 weeks later.

Over the course of the month, we’ll cover basic pottery wheel techniques including centering, trimming, and glazing! This class focuses on basic forms such as cups, mugs, bowls and plates. Class fee covers all clay, glazes and other supplies as well as kiln firings.

This class is for adults, 18+.

Intermediate pottery wheel classes will continue to build on skills you’ve learned in beginner’s pottery wheel classes. Topic classes are for students that are confidently able to center larger pieces (2lbs) consistently. These pottery wheel classes are for students who have taken at least one month long beginner’s pottery wheel class with us, or have the ability to confidently center 2lbs of clay and create even, 6-inch tall cylinders. If you have never taken classes with EPIC please email us before enrolling so that we can confirm this is the right class for you.

Bring your date (or BFF or cool aunt) to a pottery wheel class at Epic! One registration per pair. Couples share a wheel, and each person will get two opportunities to throw. BYOB! Your pots will be fired, glazed, and ready to pick up one month after class. 

Try the pottery wheel or hand build (your choice) in this casual, hands-on afternoon class. No previous experience needed — bring some friends or make some new ones! Your instructor will give a beginner wheel and/or hand build lesson, depending on what y’all are interested in doing. You’ll make 1-2 pots and pick glazes at the end. Last minute sign ups are welcome, as long as there’s space!
