EPIC Clay Studio is an arts program of Build WyCo. We build creative community and offer affordable, accessible clay classes to neighbors of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Clay is for everyone — come try it out!

A month-long, comprehensive overview of basic pottery wheel skills—no prior experience needed! Class sessions will be once a week for 4 consecutive weeks.
Over the course of the month, we’ll cover basic pottery wheel techniques including centering, trimming, and glazing! This class focuses on basic forms such as cups, mugs, bowls and plates. Class fee covers all clay, glazes and other supplies as well as kiln firings.

Try the pottery wheel or hand build (your choice) in this casual, hands-on afternoon class. No previous experience needed — BYOB and bring some friends or make some new ones!
One registration per person; ages 18+.
Your instructor will go through a beginner wheel and/or hand building lesson, depending on what you’re interested in. Each person will make 1-2 pots and pick glazes at the end; pieces will be fired and ready to pick up after one month.

Join us for a casual, beginner-friendly date night in Strawberry Hill! This 1.5hr wheel class is a great gift idea and makes for a romantic, engaging date (or a fun girls’ night out)! Spend an evening getting messy & creative with someone you care about.
DETAILS: We’ll go through the basics of throwing on the pottery wheel and each person will make 1-2 pots. Pieces will be ready to pick up 3-4 weeks later, fired and finished with a glaze of your choice!

We host a monthly queer clay club class & potluck to celebrate our LGBTQIA2S+ friends and supporters! Register here to reserve your spot (1 ticket = 1 person), and start planning what sweet or salty treat you’re bringing to the table. This class is beginner-friendly open to everyone! Must be age 18+.
Project theme is different each month, but you’re also welcome to come with your own hand building project in mind!
